Soaring to New Heights!

Goal #1: Be Positive How will we accomplish this goal? We are going to encourage each other and not get frustrated with each other. We need to focus on the good things, because you don’t get anywhere when you’re upset. Coach’s note: No tears in the gym!

Goal #2: Make cheering for each other a habit! How will we accomplish this goal? We will cheer the whole time we are tumbling. Remember our motto: One up, All Behind! We will always lift each other up using words of encouragement during practice and meets while someone is on an event!

Goal #3: Be Supportive! How will we accomplish this goal? Respect each other by over looking others’ flaws. Stay focused on the team, not yourself. Motivate each other through positive criticism. Coach’s note: There is no “I” in TEAM. It takes three score on each event to make ONE TEAM SCORE! Think of our team as a “Family” and we are all here to support each other. We are all working towards one common goal: A State Championship Title!

Goal #4: No Drama! How will we accomplish this goal? Leave everything outside the gym. No clicks. No Secrets. No Gossip. No Back-stabbing. We are a team and everyone has different attributes that add to the team. Coach’s note: Working together and developing team chemistry makes a team whole. Being a team player means always encouraging others, having a positive attitude, and helping each other out when needed (i.e., simply moving someone’s mat in practice or at a meet).

Goal #5: Represent Lady Hawks Gymnastics with DIGNITY at MEETS, PRACTICE, SCHOOL and in the COMMUNITY! How will we accomplish this goal? Always be aware of the example you are setting. Think before you act and make sure you’re making mature decisions that you would be proud of. Coach’s note: You are a student-athlete that represents Rockwall-Heath High School and Lady Hawks Gymnastics. You are a role model to your peers and young fans that love the sport of gymnastics. Being a student athlete, you have many responsibilities and privileges that you will need to adhere to.

Coach's Corner

“As Lady Hawk Gymnasts, We will work as a team, function as a family, strive to have 10.0 Start Value and compete with confidence. This is my promise to my teammates, my coaches, and myself as a Lady hawk gymnast!”  1…2…3… Hawks!

Jennifer Bolli

My goals this year are:

Goal #1: Work as a Team and function as a family! How will we accomplish this goal? We will have strong positive leaders that lead by example. We will continually encourage each other and motivate one another to be the best person and gymnast they can be. We will create a positive atmosphere for everyone in and out of the gym! No matter what happens outside of the gym we are a family and we will treat each other with respect! Remember our saying “One Up, All Behind!” We will back each other up in every situation and will not gossip or say hurtful words about someone in our “family”! TEAM CHEMISTRY will come if we learn to respect each other and support each other!

Goal #2: Everyone in line up will have a 10.0 start value. How will we accomplish this goal? We will train hard and not complain! We will be tough mentally and physically to train the harder skills it takes to meet our special requirements! We will put in the numbers it takes to become comfortable and confident with our new skills!

Goal #3: Make it to Regional’s. How will we accomplish this goal? If we act as a family and train hard, everything else will fall into place. We need to leave all gossip and personal problems outside of our gym and lift each other up with words of encouragement! We need to compete with confidence and trust our training!

Goal #4: Compulsory and optional Team score of at least 110! How will we accomplish this goal? If we accomplish the first three goals, the 4th goal will fall into place!
